Аннотация
В этом номере мы начинаем публикацию серии сообщений, посвященных эпидемиологии, клинике, диагностике, лечению, профилактике, медицинским и социальным последствиям COVID-19. Учитывая тревожность ситуации, предполагаемый размах и скорость распространения инфекции, вовлечение в проблему всего населения страны, независимо от пола, возраста и принадлежности к различным социальным группам, наряду с всеобъемлющим соблюдением мер социальной и медицинской профилактики, необходимы упреждающая подготовка и непрерывное образование медицинских специалистов, поскольку новый коронавирус не только новый с точки зрения его молекулярно-биологических особенностей, но в разрезе возможных трудностей диагностики и лечения, особенностей клинического течения, высокого риска развития критических состояний и осложнений, высокой летальности, что мы уже увидели на примере Китая, США, стран Европы. В первом сообщении мы постарались осветить накопленный опыт в области изучения природы нового коронавируса, эпидемиологии, патогенеза и клинических проявлений заболевания, представить сведения из литературных источников, основанных на опыте преодоления этого грозного заболевания и его последствий наших коллег.
